The game hit the 500,000 copies milestone back in January, less than a month after it initially released, and while sales have understandably slowed since that post-holidays launch period, it’s still performing very nicely indeed.
Nintendo’s own Ring Fit Adventure unsurprisingly leads the way on the fitness front, generating a mighty 10.1 million sales to date, but Imagineer notes that Fitness Boxing 2 has been doing very well for itself, appearing in popular women’s magazines and TV programs, as well as in games media.
The news comes alongside the reveal of the title’s next update, which will take the game to Version 1.0.4. This update drops on 27th May and will add ‘stage production settings’ and ‘adjustment of display objects during exercise’. The changes are being introduced based on player feedback.
Have you picked up either of the Fitness Boxing games? Have they been a good addition to your fitness routine? Let us know in the usual place.
